Spelling Exercises

We have two spelling exercises.

Early years spelling (Spelling Starter) is a spelling exercise aimed at early years students from 4-6 years old.

The main spelling exercise consists of the 100 most commonly misspelled words.

Both exercises feature total support so that they are exercises not tests. The challenge for the student is to spell words without help but as soon as they enter a wrong letter they are shown the whole word and get a chance to try again.

The early years spelling exercises present each word in the context of a picture. The word is presented in a very simple phrase which is read out to the student.
